Role Purpose

This high profile Director level role is a newly created role based in the Fitch Learning Hong Kong office. Reporting directly to the CEO of Fitch Learning based in London, he or she will be responsible for business development, delivering training and the maintenance and design of training collateral.

We are looking to expand our winning team through the addition of a bright Training and Business Development professional who shares our enthusiasm for training and client relationship development and can live up to our tag line of "a passion to deliver."

Role Responsibilities

Business Development

  • To lead on and work with the existing Asia based team to identify, target and develop new Learning & Development (L&D) client relationships within financial organizations across APAC, with particular focus on HK SAR and China.
  • Partnering with new and established clients to act as a trusted advisor with respect to consulting, Training Needs Analysis, competency frameworks, bespoke intervention design considering a blend of learning while taking in to account the needs and expectations of all stakeholders in the process - L&D, HRBPs, delegates, line managers and the broader business
  • Assisting to construct and present responses to client Request for Proposal


Training

  • To deliver when and as necessary from the full portfolio of financial markets Instructor Led Training (ILT) capabilities

Training Collateral: Maintenance and Design

  • Review existing portfolio and recommend improvements where necessary
  • Strengthen and complement existing portfolio by design and build of new ILT modules


Role Requirements

  • A minimum of 12-15 years' experience in a similar role based in financial services is essential, most recently within Greater China
  • Demonstrable business origination and client management skills
  • Broad and deep knowledge of the global financial services industry, participants, products, regulations, risk
  • Experienced negotiator, commercially minded, effective sales and marketing skills, ability to engage with individuals at all levels within an organization from analyst to CEO
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both verbal and written, is essential. Cantonese is beneficial
  • Experienced L&D professional with a thorough knowledge of HR processes, understanding of complex organizational structures and sensitivity to key stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills, experienced ILT trainer
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently as necessary
  • Strong IT skills - Microsoft Office suite, Bloomberg etc
  • Empathetic, resilient, emotionally and culturally intelligent
  • Degree educated and/or postgraduate qualifications such as the CFA is preferred
