The role we are looking for is a Business / Data Analyst to be a part of the Risk Reporting and Analytics team in Singapore. These reports are used to help senior risk managers understand the key exposures and risk profile of the bank or to illustrate the risk exposures of the bank to senior management, the board, regulators, investors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The Risk Reporting team in Singapore is principally involved in delivering strategic improvements to the current report
processes and responding to ad hoc queries, this includes:
• Specifying and testing the necessary changes to move reporting processes into strategic systems
• Meeting key CRO customers to understand their needs
• Providing senior management with explanations for any reported numbers
• Developing interim solutions for any current issues that arise
• Supporting Risk Reporting teams globally when issues require trouble shooting
• Participating in methodology reviews and implementation of any methodological changes
• Providing senior management with required ad hoc information
• Providing regulators with required ad hoc information or designing processes for regular requests

To be considered for the role, you must have:

Essentials Skills and Qualifications
• Strong academics, ideally in a numerate degree
• Operational, Liquidity, Enterprise risk experience
• Ability to manage senior customers
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritize accordingly
• Intelligent individual who is keen to learn
• Ability to understand technical concepts quickly and to explain them to others
• Experience with programming Excel macros /VBA, MS Excel/ Access, Tableau, R, Python

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Working towards ACA/CFA/FRM or equivalent professional qualification
• Financial services experience and basic understanding of banking products
