Associate Director, US Equity Indices Product Management
The Location: New York

S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI), the world's largest provider of indices is seeking Associate Director, US Equity Product Management. S&P DJI indices are used as the basis of investment products and to benchmark portfolio performance. S&P DJI indices are the foundation of some of the world's leading exchange traded derivatives, ETFs, structured products, OTC instruments, index funds in addition to being the benchmark for investment portfolios.

The SPDJI US Equity franchise includes the iconic S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) as well as Style, Select Sectors and Select Industries indices. This person will report to the Head of US Equity Product Management and will be responsible for running the day-to-day business functions. Key responsibilities include working and coordinating across internal stakeholders on product launches, develop product messaging and product positioning.

The person would also participate in business development process by working closely with Sales and Channel Management teams, produce go-to-market materials and participating in client meetings. The person may also participate in conferences, webinars and roadshows educate clients on the indices and to increase client adoption.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product development and/or research and will have demonstrated communications, presentation and analytical skills. The candidate will need to work closely with our research, index operations and governance, client coverage, channel management, index strategy, marketing, and communications teams.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Advanced degree in Finance, MBA and CFA strongly preferred
  • Understanding of investment process, portfolio theory, and financial markets
  • Proven ability to work with clients
