Title: Analyst

Reporting To: Asset Manager

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Key Responsibilities:

Analyst (Asset Management)

  • Conduct development appraisals and underwrite value enhancing strategies
  • Identification of and investigation into redevelopment and/or change of asset use opportunities across the portfolio
  • Oversight of external contractors for the execution of approved initiatives
  • Build and maintain 3rd parties’ relationships with clients, providers and local authorities, to support the asset management processes
  • Review and sign-off of completed works
  • Project management of major capex initiatives, liaising with external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to the approved budget
  • Attend appraisal review meetings with clients, as required
  • Leasing management where required
  • Analysis on income, pricing or asset liquidity or other aspects affecting asset management as required
  • Assist the sales team in the sales process of the assets.

Reporting

  • Preparation of asset review memos and presentations recommending approval of value enhancing initiatives and disposal strategies
  • Organize and support the process of preparing monthly asset management reports to be submitted to the Project Lead and the client
  • Preparation of reports on income, pricing or asset liquidity or other aspects affecting asset management as required.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications: 

  • University degree in Real Estate or related fields (Finance and/or Business Management, Real Estate Management, Engineering, Property Appraisal)
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate concepts and asset management processes
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a real estate finance environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook)
  • Native Portuguese and fluent in English speaking. Well-developed communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Analytical, numerate and accurate with good attention to detail
  • Energetic and self-motivated, with an ability to work independently and use own initiative 
  • Task and goal oriented
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Good team player with an ability to work in a proactive and supportive manner
