The assistant with focus on business development is mainly responsible for servicing the clients in the day-to-day work and handle administrative issues. She/he will be responsible to execute trades and this entails dealing with routine enquiries and transactions as well as documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
In addition to the daily tasks, the assistant with focus on business development will also support actively the Team Head Employee Banking in new initiatives or projects.
Professionalism and responsiveness are key.

Clients support:
  • Service clients in the day-to-day work and handle administrative issues
  • Attend incoming calls and e-mails and ensure that always a prompt action is taken
  • Handle the account openings for new clients as well as account changes to existing clients
  • Ensure efficient and prompt handling of orders, trades, transactions, etc.
  • Monitor the maturity list for deposits, loans, trades; take action where instruction is standard, seek instructions (from RM or client) if necessary and required

Business Development:
  • Support the Team Head in initiatives or projects
  • Support the creation of regular marketing materials
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date

Personal and Social
  • Very good inter-personal skills, open and approachable
  • Displays genuine interest in people, ability to relate to clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
  • Persistent and persuasive and passionate about client service
  • Possesses good judgement and ability to work under pressure
  • Able to act with diligent and rigorous approach also in demanding situations

Professional and Technical
  • Further education in financial markets (university/university of applied science, AZEK, CFA etc.)
  • Generalist know-how of a broad array of asset classes paired with a strong interest for financial markets
  • In-depth knowledge in banking and pronounced knowledge in all asset classes in a portfolio context
  • Experience as Relationship Manager Assistant (RMA) or Junior Relationship Manager (JRM)
  • Experience in Projects
  • Excellent written and oral skills in German and English; additional languages e.g. French, Italian a plus
