Moody Aldrich Partners is seeking a senior marketing professional with experience raising assets for long only investment strategies from institutions, consultants and intermediaries.   The person would travel periodically and work primarily out of the firm’s Marblehead Massachusetts office within a collaborative team environment with individual accountability.  The person must have a thorough understanding of the institutional marketplace, advanced knowledge of investment concepts and prior success raising capital from sophisticated investors and intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan for several long only domestic and international equity strategies.  Work closely with senior partners and portfolio managers to strategically position the firm to attract and retain institutional clients. Coordinate meetings with institutional investors and consultants. Oversee and prepare marketing materials and assist in the preparation of RFP’s and RFI’s from institutional consultants and plan sponsors. Seek new distribution channels for the firm’s existing product lineup.

Desired Education, Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of direct experience interacting directly with consultants, plan sponsors and other asset owners. An aggressive, energetic and entrepreneurial style with the desire and ability to build a business. Proven experience raising capital across long-only equity strategies from the target investor base. Excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to learn and retain information about a variety of investment products and services, including competing and complementary programs. MBA or CFA preferred.
