Team overview:
Systematic Investments, sits within Schroders' Multi-Assets Investments division. We manage £7 billion across a range of systematic, factor-based strategies, predominantly on behalf of institutional clients globally, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, charities and insurance companies.
Who we look for:
An experienced global equities portfolio manager with experience in global factor-based systematic portfolio management. The ideal candidate is a process-focused team player with good interpersonal skills.
Overview of the role:This role entails ensuring the efficient application of the outcome of investment research and models into live portfolios.
The successful candidate will be required to review, analyse and apply changes to portfolios in accordance with model output and changes taking into account different market environments.
A key element of this role is the ability to build relationships and working with other teams including distribution, product, implementation and trading, to ensure a seamless investment process from start to end. This will include providing fund-manager oversight of support teams during client on boarding.
Interaction with clients concerning strategy and performance expected.

Skills required:
- Strong stakeholder management in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent written & spoken communication skills.
- Experience in developing and improving processes and automated checks required to make large-scale portfolio management efficient.
- Previous experience in Sharia compliant investment strategies is a plus
- Experience in both developed and emerging markets strongly desired.
- Qualifications: CFA, CQF or postgraduate degree in finance
