Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Group CEO on financing strategy and board communication while
  building new relationships across the finance & investors community
• Identify, strategize and spearhead the company's fund-raising efforts
• Strategize and implement new ways to sustain performance and grow the business
• Strategize, implement and drive measurable financial and growth metrics
• Evaluate mergers and acquisitions opportunities to enhance shareholder value
• Work closely with the CEO and Senior Management team to manage the full suite of
  finance, governance, internal control, and risk management.
• Work closely with the CEO in ensuring liquidity support for the company's needs and
  fund-raising to finance a loan book
• Lead the efforts to annual budgeting and presentation to the board for review and
  approval while controlling for deviations and corrective actions when necessary
• Provide robust financial analysis and financial management direction to enable smooth
  operations and strategic decision making in all geographies
• Ensuring high-accessibility of financial insights across the leadership team to drive better
  decision making backed by data

Qualifications

• A Master or Bachelor degree in Finance from a good university and MBA/CFA
• 10 years of post-graduation experience with preference to those who start in a Big 4
  accounting firm or 8 years in Senior Leadership Role
• Operational experience in a start-up/e-commerce-marketplace platform environment is
  highly advantageous
• Experience in fund-raising (for startup series B and above), M&A/IPO of companies is
  highly preferred (ideally from major investment firm)
• Highly effective, mission-driven, strategic finance executive with strong transaction/ deal experience for this high-impact role
• Experience within the technology sector with proven ability to take a company from high growth the exit
• Strong and proven track record of brilliantly managing investment allocation.
• Able to engage and intellectually spar with the Group CEO and other stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and a master in presentation, negotiation, and analytics.
