Associate – Corporate Finance/M&A

Key Responsabilities:

- Assisting in execution of deals;

- Management and training of Juniors and reporting upwards;

- Creation and Review of Financial Models produced;

- Production of IM and running the Auction process;

- Liaison with Clients when required

Expected Candidate Profile:

Millennium investment banking is seeking to fill an Associate position with a suitable candidate who has:

• 2 or 3 years of experience in M&A/Corporate Finance (Financial advisory industry may also be considered)
• Master degree
• Having passed CFA Level II exam will be valued
• A good knowledge of M&A and the ability to apply your skills creatively to diverse client needs;
• Good knowledge of accounting and modelling skills;
• Experience in valuations, drafting marketing materials and pitch presentations;
• Capacity to undertake a leading role in client pitches
• Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytic skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proactive and dynamic in the context of the ongoing projects and in the context of the organization (department and bank as a whole)
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
