Associate - Investment Professional - Private Infrastructure

What it's about
In this position you will support the Private Infrastructure investment team and take part in all aspects of private infrastructure investments. This includes sourcing, assessing, executing and monitoring private infrastructure transactions with a main focus on infrastructure co-investments and fund investments.

• Source infrastructure investment opportunities (direct and secondary fund investments).
• Lead quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective private infrastructure investments.
• Compile and review valuation models, prepare investment recommendations for private infrastructure investments addressed to Partners Group's Investment Committee.
• Take a lead role in monitoring infrastructure investments and managing relationships to infrastructure managers in Europe, including regular interaction with investment partners (includes travel within Europe).
• Perform various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts.

What we expect
For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong numerical, networking and organization skills.The successful candidate should have the following profile:

• Top academic credentials (Master/MBA/CFA preferred) with a coursework emphasis on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Engineering
• 3- 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably including background in principal investing and investment banking
• Excellent analytical, financial, interpersonal, and client-facing skills, combined with the desire to learn and succeed
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead transactions
• Expert knowledge of Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to conduct research and cope with incomplete information.
