Position Description:

The Transitions Associate will join the Client Management operations team in Munich to work with our existing European transitions and operations professionals. The successful candidate will work with the team to support both transition events and operational tasks for the German and Austrian business channel. In particular:
  • Delivery of successful transition events including setting up new accounts, restructure or closure of existing accounts and supporting in-kind transfers in/out of accounts.
  • Work with clients, portfolio managers, legal, compliance, fund administration, analytics, performance, account management and back office transition teams on each event.
  • Assist in managing ad hoc/daily KVG queries
  • Coordinate a variety of operational events with back office and related stakeholders. Typical events include market openings, regulatory requests, collateral and brokers' inquiries, and provision of tax forms.


Position Requirements:

  • University degree (or equivalent) with an emphasis in Finance and Economics
  • Fluency in English and German required.

  • Well organized, self-starter able to work in a team environment

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple events with tight deadlines at the same time

  • Awareness of Fixed Income fundamentals and understanding of derivative instruments.
  • Willingness to learn and the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
  • Relationship building skills
