Regional Product Development Associate - Global Asset Management Firm

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of new product / new share class ideas, including working closely with investment and distribution and other relevant teams and to prepare internal and external materials.
• Coordinate with different parties for the product implementation
• Manage product-related initiatives and other relevant projects from time to time.
• Assist to disseminate and coordinate product updates / product changes that will impact the region and to provide feedback where necessary on any local requirements to Product Development Team across other regions and headquarter.
• Work closely with product development team from other region and counterparts from the Legal, Compliance and Distribution team, to ensure smooth implementation of the product changes including launches and terminations.
• Coordinate within the region on regular update on product health check and local product activities.
• Assist Distribution teams to fill in product questionnaire and other product due diligence.
• Work with Legal and other relevant teams on the update of the product documentation including fund prospectus.
• Work with the investment teams to develop locally relevant competitive analysis and adopt strategic and focus products.
• Gather and analyze data and information on market trends, house views and flows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' investment experience, preferably in a product development role
• Detailed knowledge of Asia and Luxembourg fund environment and regulations essential
• CFA would be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skill and with the ability to liaise with senior management, peers and other team members.
• Creative, innovative, and proactive, strong analytical and project management skills; ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Chinese
