Position Description:

Over the past 2+ years, PIMCO has undergone significant change when it comes to digital readiness. As part of a global digital transformation initiative spearheaded by Technology and Marketing - PIMCO has set the stage to enable personalized client-centric experiences.
The firm is seeking a Digital Marketing Analyst to support the execution of digital marketing programs and campaigns - with a focus on the Digital Sales program. You will be responsible for overseeing campaign logistics, including coordination with marketing and sales teams, campaign design, creative development, audience definition and identification, as well as measurement and reporting. It is important that you understand and become an expert in email marketing best practices to support campaign design and development. This role reports into the Growth Marketing lead within the Digital Marketing organization.

  • Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Quickly become a student of the PIMCO Digital Sales program-and support expansion opportunities by executing proof of concepts and coordinating new campaigns
  • Serve as the project manager and day-to-day contact for Digital Sales campaigns, owning end-to-end campaign execution (team coordination, data gathering, timeline management, etc.)
  • Lead and coordinate a cross-team QA process to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Identify potential roadblocks to execution schedules, resources, etc., and propose solutions with trade-off considerations to the leadership team
  • Maintain campaign planning and execution calendars
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to understand relevant data and use it to inform campaign optimization and evolution over time
  • Support copy writing and creative development of new campaigns, including routing content for business and compliance approval
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing to optimize campaigns
  • Be familiar with marketing platforms and tools used and PIMCO to inform campaign design
  • Study and share email marketing best practices to inform campaign design and educate stakeholders

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 -3 years of experience coordinating marketing campaigns (including email marketing) across the sales funnel, including acquisition and nurturing campaigns
  • Project or program management experience. including a demonstrated ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multi-faceted initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping projects well documented and on track
  • Ability to analyze data, teasing out actionable insights and impactful stories
  • Strong drive to harness data and insights in practical ways
  • Track record of pursuing excellence
  • Independent problem-solving skills

  • Experience within the Financial Services industry
  • Experience writing for marketing campaigns desirable
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to face off across all levels of an organization
  • Strong team player; ability to partner effectively with multiple teams
  • An analytical mindset with a high level of curiosity - able to 'think outside the box'
  • Exceptional organizational and program management skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage a large number of ongoing initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities through commitment to quality, impeccable attention to detail, and use of effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Inquisitive self-starter, ability to flourish within the firm's demanding, fast-paced, and highly focused environment with shifts in priorities as business needs dictate

  • Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate unstructured processes and simultaneously manage responsibilities of multiple-concurrent work streams and competing demands
