Position Description:

The Procurement Data Specialist role at PIMCO offers resourceful self-starters the opportunity to learn and be challenged. This is a fast-paced environment, which requires a high degree of professionalism, organization, and detail orientation, coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. We encourage and appreciate self-starters, bringing forth creative ideas and taking ownership.
Main responsibilities

  • High volume data reconciliation across multiple databases
  • Scheduled and ad-hoc reporting for special projects
  • Data validation across licensing databases and contract databases
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Manage billing discrepancies
  • Additional special projects may be assigned


Position Requirements:

You will have:

  • Six months of related experience. Relevant internship experience will suffice.
  • Proficient PC skills and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), facilitation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to face off across all levels of an organization
  • Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills
  • Demonstrated competence in thinking strategically, analytically and conceptually
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding, fast paced environment and handle multiple, competing priorities and projects with high quality output
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate unstructured processes and simultaneously manage responsibilities of multiple-concurrent projects and competing demands
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

  • College degree is required
  • Experience with ReadSoft and SAP is a plus
  • Familiarity with BI tools and PMO dashboards
