Research Analyst

Role

• Play an integral role in business development and client service efforts by assisting with the preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and due diligence requests for the client’s Private Wealth Management distribution channel
• The RFP Associate will work with the client’s Senior RFP writer to prepare proposals for prospective clients in support of its Private Wealth Philanthropy team, advisors and associates
• Co-ordinate with the Senior RFP Writer to maintain the content management system and ensure relevant materials are up to date
• Support the client with any other ad-hoc research requests
• Engage with client proactively and suggest new ideas to enhance client engagement

Candidate Profile

• Excellent English language skills, verbal and demonstrated writing capabilities, such as reports, articles or essays
• Familiarity with financial and investment terminology
• Desire to learn all technical aspects of the client’s business including the philosophy, research and investment processes of products, wealth planning structures, FINRA requirements and other marketing regulations
• Ability to construct new proposal responses from two or more already composed responses and write transitional language between points when necessary for clarity and style
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks to ensure that all assignments are completed in a timely manner
• Demonstrated initiative and good judgment as well as the ability to work well under pressure and with time constraints
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, and possess the ability to quickly master internal systems and applications

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate or Post Graduate in any finance related stream with 1-2 years of writing experience, data collation, and tapping databases. Writing experience can include publishing reports, writing for financial newspapers/websites, and developing online content

Preferred Qualifications

• People who have cleared Level 1 of the CFA exam, and have demonstrated excellence in written and verbal English. Candidates who have studied financial journalism have an advantage
