RS Growth Associate

RS Investments is seeking a highly intelligent and self-motivated research associate to provide support in the investment process working with senior analysts on all facets of the research process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with senior analysts on identification and due diligence of investment ideas
• Business sector research
• Review public documents, trade journals, buy-side journals
• Conduct third party research calls
• Perform channel checks
• Assist in earnings calls and updating models
• Monitor existing holdings

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of financial concepts and strong financial modeling skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter and resourceful
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Intellectual curiosity
• Passion for investing
• Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg
• Modeling skills preferred

Experience & Education:

• Three to five years buy side or sell side experience, buy side preferred
• CFA level 1 or higher preferred

Technology experience preferred
