Fixed Income Analyst (Manager)

Responsibilities:

• Perform credit analysis on bond issues
• Provide recommendation of bond trades
• Provide coverage of macroeconomic developments and interest rates
• Assist fund managers in managing bond portfolios and trade execution
• Perform administrative duties within the Fixed Income team

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree / CFA is preferred
• At least 3-5 years of experience in research or investment management role within banking and/or asset management firms
• Experience with bank credit analysis and in Asian local currency markets will be an advantage
• Possesses solid accounting and financial analysis skills to undertake credit analysis of a company
• Possesses macro-economic understanding to undertake economic analysis, rates and FX analysis
• Able to articulate a concise investment recommendation via credit reports and verbal presentation during meetings
• Self-starter and able to work with minimal assistance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player and willing to take on administrative duties
