- Monitoring financial markets
- Supporting the CIO in the strat
- Reviewing and analyzing investment performance, including consideration of attribution, anomalies and analysis on material holdings and contributors to and detractors from performance;
- Scrutinizing portfolios to ensure that the investment managers are adhering to the investment strategy, objectives and investment guidelines of the fund;
- Coordinating investment manager reviews
- Reviewing new UCITS, AIFs and segregated client account proposals
The Person:
- CFA or CAIA is desirable
- First class knowledge of financial markets and a strong grasp of the regulatory environment
- Experience in a similar role or a background in equity, fixed income or alternative asset classes either as a portfolio manager or analyst
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with an ability to question and challenge
- Proven team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work independently
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to articulate complex ideas
