Responsibilities

Support regional Balance Sheet Management for South and South East Asia with aim to reducing balance sheet risks and maximizing shareholder value. Deliver regular and insightful analytics for the regional balance sheets.

  • Provide support in steering regional balance sheets through regular reviews and engagement with corporate treasury teams in South and South East Asia
  • Deliver regular and insightful analytics to assess robustness and momentum of the regional balance sheets including implications of macro-economic & market changes.
  • Understand the impact of various internal risk & regulatory constraints on the regional balance sheets eg. LCR, NSFR and local regs and ensure proper price signal through FTP.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with Group CT on balance sheet shaping & steering including guidance to country Corporate Treasury teams on FTP.
  • Support review of country FTP Standards and Guides for alignment and consistency with Group Policies and Standards.
  • Prepare material / updates for Group ALCO and track execution against decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth B/S reviews on an ad hoc basis in collaboration with teams within Corporate Treasury.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in ALM, preferably with regional coverage for South & South East Asia.
  • Minimum â€" University degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or Finance. Open to other disciplines (e.g. Engineering) if have relevant experience in banking industry.
  • AMCT, CFA or FRM certifications will be preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters and Murex.
  • Knowledge / certification in Programming languages such as Python, SQL and other programming languages would be advantage.
