~~• Manage and oversee the firm's performance and analytics function.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures around performance measurement, including composite maintenance and GIPS compliance
• Oversee the calculation and reporting of daily, monthly and quarterly investment performance
• Oversight and maintenance of performance composites.
• Responsible for overseeing the annual GIPS audit.
• Work closely with compliance to insure the firm is abiding to all record keeping requirements for performance reporting.
• Monitor all operational aspects that impact investment performance, including reviewing performance on new and existing accounts for reasonableness.
• Manage client meeting requests and other performance-related inquiries from the Institutional and Wealth Advisor groups or other internal departments.
• Oversee the outsourced performance platform.
• Oversee the firm's performance attribution and risk analysis
• Oversee the process for generating statistics relevant to the firm's investment strategies, including fundamental characteristics, risk stats, and competitive analysis
• Manage the process for calculation of performance for investment proposals for the firm's Wealth Advisory division
• Manage all requests for data from the firm's various departments, including marketing and investment management
• Produce management reporting to measure and track firm's product quality across all product lines through performance measurement and analysis.
• Develop and optimize operational workflow for the department and implement appropriate tools to support the department's function
• Supervise staff to motivate and elicit high-quality results on behalf of the department
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of related performance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applied expertise and knowledge of a specific technical or functional area.
• Prior exposure to sleeve-level and/or sub-account reporting.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Familiar with Security APL, FactSet Portfolio Analysis, FactSet SPAR, Morningstar Direct, Sylvan, GWP, Risk systems such as BARRA or Bloomberg, eVestment analytical tools
• CIPM, CFA or MBA a plus.
• Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated ability to exchange complex information effectively to reach agreement in ambiguous or difficult situations
• Demonstrated experience managing staff
• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders and across organizational functions.
• Acute attention to detail
