This is a key role within the Financial Markets Feature Team, a part of the Capital Requirements Directive Programme (soon to be a formal Lab).

The role will have responsibility for data mapping traded products from front office systems and setting up the Counterparty Credit Risk calculations produced by a new vendor tool.

Deep financial markets product knowledge will be expected as well as expert understanding of the new SA-CCR regulations and required data.

  • You'll be a natural leader who'll coach and support colleagues to 'deliver best in class' change
  • You'll be comfortable providing complex analytical and research advice and recommendations and using your own judgement


Desirable Skills, Experience and qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience within financial services with knowledge and understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk and associated capital requirements and the CRD/Basel rules.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets products including derivatives, repos and bonds etc.
  • Experience of working with regulatory frameworks - Basel, CRR, PRA.
  • Experience of working in an Agile project environment.
  • Structured, organised and results-orientated demonstrating high levels of attention to detail and ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to engage with senior stakeholders specifically within Commercial Banking / Markets.
  • Experience in data sourcing for SACCR/CEM calculations and associated calculation engines.
  • Detailed SACCR calculation (EAD/RWA) knowledge; from both a functional and regulatory interpretation perspective.
  • Finance/banking related qualification desirable e.g. CFA / FRM.
