What is the Opportunity?
In this role you will you will be key member of the T&O Finance Performance Management team. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Provide insightful and actionable financial and business analysis of T&O results and work on analytical presentations to support decision making
  • This position supports the Performance Management team to provide Senior Management with effective performance analytics and reporting of Actual results to enable early identification of issues, opportunities and appropriate alternative action to support efficient and timely decision making.
This position is responsible timely delivery of related financial reporting packages while streamlining processes to create efficiencies and support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes

What will you do?
  • Preparation of comprehensive, in-depth and timely analytical support through developing financial summaries and presentations for VP, T&O Finance and T&O OC.
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of T&O business structure and collaborate with finance teams across the enterprise to ensure timely flow of information
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports (MMR), including key financial highlights and key operating metrics highlighting main risks and opportunities
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly Allocation reports to Platforms, including key financial highlights
  • Preparation of insightful analysis for management decision-making. Support the end-to-end Performance Management reporting process for results
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Performance Management team for reporting of actual results on a monthly basis
  • Involved in various projects as required and support and prepare ad-hoc analysis for financial results as requested

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Strong understanding of the drivers of performance and outcome measures of RBC's businesses.
  • Working experience and knowledge of EPM
  • Strong in Excel and Powerpoint
  • 5+ years of relevant finance experience (or closely related function)
  • Team player and strong communication skills
  • Enterprise mindset and strong analytical capabilities
  • Initiative and proactive thinking
  • Cope with tight timelines and occasionally long hours required
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate multi-tasking skill
  • CA/CGA/CMA/MBA/CFA
