~Position Purpose~

The primary purpose of the Senior Implementation specialist is to implement Factset OMS and Compliance after a prospect moves to purchase. This is a highly technical position which involves enterprise hosting, client data integration, workflow configuration, integration with 3rd parties (internal and external) reporting.

While other individuals at FactSet will be involved in an implementation, the Senior Implementation Specialist is the subject matter expert as it pertains to the OMS and Compliance modules during and after the implementation. The implementation Specialist also spends a significant portion of their time supporting pre-sales activity led by Regional Sales Teams.

Major Accountabilities:

•SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION: Implementation of Factset OMS and Compliance solutions
•PRE-SALES SUPPORT: Prepare for and demonstrate solutions to prospective buyers.
•SUPPORT EXISTING CLIENT BASE: Retain existing ASV through continued product consultation and support of OMS and Compliance Solutions. This takes the form of project work, on-site and webex meetings, travel, phone consultation and written instructions/directions.

Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with other team members to discuss solutions for client inquiries, product enhancements, sales opportunities, and ensure communication is flowing adequately in every direction.
•Collaborate on sales initiatives, cross department responsibilities, product positioning, new firm wide initiatives.
•An ability to understand how other financial software systems operate allows for understanding integration requirements and how interaction with FactSet plays a role in the solution development for example loading holdings from an accounting system or integrating with a Post Trade provider like DTCC or Trianna.
•The position offers a lot of autonomy and individuals are required to take ownership, build consensus, lead by example, and motivate stakeholders towards a common goal.
•Solutions often require expertise in SQL and PowerShell scripting

Requirements:

•Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, mathematics or similar field.; CFA, FRM, CIPM designations
•Knowledge of financial markets and investment process
•Experience using and implementing an OMS
