Altus Partners are partnering an established Credit boutique with the hire of an Analyst to join their Investor Relations team. The firm invests across the debt structure; senior debt, second lien, and mezzanine finance. They have now taken a real focus on growth given their financial strength and they see value in giving current and potential investors in depth information beyond their competition. With this in mind, they are seeking an Associate to strength relationships with current investors.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the head of the team, you will enhance current relationships with institutional clients. You will become an expert on products and investment strategies offered and will build internal relationships to provide effective solutions to client requests. In addition, you will take a lead in assisting with fundraising activities including producing marketing materials and providing quantitative and qualitative analysis to prospective investors.

This role is integral to the fundraising process and will be rewarded appropriately.

REQUIREMENTS:

Our client believes that a positive working attitude and core competencies are important, therefore they are willing consider individuals from different backgrounds including:
  • An Analyst 2/3 from investment banking,
  • Minimum of 2 years within a private equity firm or asset manager, in investor relations or sales support or product specialist
  • 3 years in a project management role in a placement agent
  • 3 years within investment consulting

The candidate will have good financial analysis and modelling abilities, and ideally be ACA or CFA qualified.
