Investment officer

• Analysis of the funds’ performance, including comparison with marketing benchmarks, and communication of findings both orally and in written marketing materials
• Preparation of marketing materials such as PPM’s, RFPs, fund overviews and presentations based on analysis performed and with the input of other teams and senior management
• Assistance with the project management of the new fundraising processes including regular interaction with 3rd party service providers such as placement agents, lawyers and other advisors.
• Acting as a point of contact for prospective investors in relation to due diligence queries, as well as building relationships with existing investors
• Regular interaction with members of the investment teams to ensure effective sharing of information between teams
• Responsible for monitoring prospect lists during a fundraise and reporting regularly to fund managers and senior management
• Become a product specialist in specific fund or area of business, building an understanding of the strategy and the underlying market and communicating this to the rest of the team
• Providing analysis in response to specific market and performance queries from investors in current funds if not handled by teams responsible for reporting fund performance on an on-going basis
