This a specialized role within the Private Banking Credit team, providing dedicated support in the underwriting of annual reviews for our largest and most complex transactions and customers. You will interact with high net worth customers in developing appropriate credit structures, obtaining risk management approval and managing loan closing.

What will you do?
  • Conduct annual credit reviews of borrowing relationships within the Private Banking complex credit book
  • Partner with Private Bankers and other members of the Private Banking credit team to gather all information necessary to complete an annual review or new credit transaction
  • Perform financial analysis of borrowers and guarantors on large, complex transactions
  • Deal with personal holding / investment companies, professional corporations and trusts
  • Deal with borrowers with complex personal and business structures
  • Conduct securities and portfolio analysis
  • Provide coaching and training to other credit team members
  • Identify opportunities to improve credit management processes and work flow and participate in special projects

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have
  • A passion for deep discovery and interaction with clients, which forms the base for success in all aspects of this role: formulating creative lending solutions, building effective credit structures and completion of well-presented credit applications in a fast-paced environment
  • Lending experience in retail, commercial or capital markets
  • Experience with analyzing complex financial statements
  • Solid capability and interest in Excel / financial modeling
  • University graduate with business-related knowledge

  • Ability to manage to tight timelines.
  • Decisiveness along with results orientation
  • Completed CFA or MBA
