We are currently representing a global private asset manager. Their main focus in on fund investments, secondaries and co-investments across private equity, real estate, infrastructure and private debt.
They are currently looking to add a Senior Associate to their private equity investments team, based in their London office.

The Role:
- Source and lead investment opportunities
- Interpret financial analyses, including investment track records/financial statements and prepare valuation analyses on private companies using a variety of metrics
- Perform market research to identify, quantify and analyse macroeconomic trends across a variety of industry sectors
- Financial modelling, including basic leveraged buyout and cash flow analysis
- Support Senior Research staff on sourcing and managing the inflow of investment opportunities
- Use creativity to source and analyse data and to test hypotheses regarding attractiveness of specific sectors and investment opportunities
- Monitor the performance of the Firm's existing investment portfolio, fund managers and underlying portfolio companies; prepare for and participate in meetings with assigned managers, and conduct on-going due diligence
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree in either Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting, or equivalent relevant experience
- 4-6 years of private equity, investment banking, consulting, or other relevant experience, including 2 to 3 years of direct, secondaries or co-investment experience
- Demonstrated track record of academic and professional success
- Proven ability to represent firm in written and interpersonal communications
- Strong, demonstrable analytical capabilities, including strong quantitative/modelling skills
- Leadership experience
- High proficiency in Word, Power Point and Excel
- Developed investment judgement with demonstrable understanding of risk/reward trade-offs
Other Desired Skills/Attributes
- Promote and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Applied experience in valuation and investment analysis, in both credit and equity
- Enrolment in the CFA program or MBA from a leading university are pluses, but not required
