This role is to provide portfolio management support to the Strategic Investment team. Focuses include using quantitative and qualitative analysis for portfolio monitoring and optimization, providing analytical support on fixed income or multi-asset strategies related to existing and new products.

Responsibilities:
  • Support multi-asset and fixed income (liability driven) asset strategy based on market analytics and recommend appropriate investment strategy
  • Enhance portfolio monitoring framework (including stress testing) for optimising performance and risk control
  • Assist in portfolio construction and investment mandate to improve portfolio efficiency
  • Work with various teams in the company to implement investment strategy
  • Support market research for investment strategy
  • Provide investment support to other teams (such as Actuarial & Finance) within the company


Requirements:
  • University degree holder majoring in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields
  • Professional qualification in CFA or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Min. 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge in Fixed Income or Derivatives are preferred
  • Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel, R or Python and VBA
  • Experience in Bloomberg and preferably in Blackrock Aladdin
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skill
  • Able to work independently, excellent interpersonal skills and a self-starter
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
  • Cantonese & Mandarin an advantage
