The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of VBA and SQL (as a minimum) as well as ideally knowledge/experience of using the output of catastrophe models (perhaps working at an insurance company, or maybe a ratings agency, another insurance asset manager, maybe even a software company that specialising in flood/natural hazards software). Knowledge of financial mathematics would be a useful added bonus, but is not essential. CFA exams would also be useful, but are not essential.
