    We are seeking a unique individual that understands meeting the financial planning needs of our clients while dually serving as a key person in our investment management functions. The ideal candidate will be on career path to becoming a Senior Advisor, Director and ultimately have the opportunity to develop the skills and expertise to reach Partner level.

    Responsibilities
    • Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing wealth management services:
      • Assist the Partner and Director to develop financial and investment planning strategies to meet the complex tax, financial and investment planning needs of our clients
      • Direct and lead the team's efforts in executing the planning and investment strategies
      • Monitor the client portfolios and investment strategies to insure they remain on target and compliant with the investment policies established for each client
      • Work directly with custodians or separate account managers to execute appropriate rebalancing, investment trading and tax loss harvesting strategies
      • Monitor, research and execute the separately managed accounts, alternative and direct investment models along with the model portfolios established for our company retirement plan clients
    • Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met
    • Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with the goal of acquiring new clients, projects, and revenue
    • Invest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning and development programs
    • Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business required, Masters or advanced degree desirable
    • Five (5) plus years of investment advisory experience, personal financial planning experience a plus
    • CFA, CIMA or CPWA credential required
    • CFP® or PFS credentials a plus
    • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
    • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
    • Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
