For our Private banking activities in Luxembourg, we are currently looking to recruit an

Investment Manager
Products, Investments and Collaboration (PIC)
1-year Fixed-term Contract

Role and Responsibilities:

Reporting locally to the Head of Discretionary Mandates, you will be responsible for supporting him in ideas generation, portfolio management, client reporting and interaction with stakeholders.

The role holder shall ensure that the following objectives are met:

• Partnering with Investment Counsellors to develop a holistic view of client needs and HSBC product offering
• Contribute to performance of mandates through relevant idea generation in a disciplined framework (SAA/TAA)
• Ongoing monitoring of financial markets and economic conditions
• Be able to provide regular update to internal (RMs, ICs) and external (Clients, PAO) stakeholders on investment views and portfolio positioning
• Monitor and maintain up to date investment grids
• Communicate trades to implement to Portfolio administrators
• Contribute to servicing and pitching clients (portfolio reviews, investment)

Professional Skills and Experience;

• University degree in Finance / Economics, MBA or CFA preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience in buy side financial markets (securities, forex, derivatives, portfolio construction and risk)
• Extensive knowledge and experience on a full spectrum of financial products and asset allocation concepts
• Team Player, high achiever, detail oriented, positive attitude, Passionate about financial markets and clients relationships
• High level of professional and personal integrity, with excellent organization and communication skills.
• IT literate (Bloomberg, MS Office)
• Fluency in French and English.
