The CalSTRS Investments Branch is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Investment Officer II in the Risk Mitigating Strategies Unit.
The Risk Mitigating Strategies (RMS) asset class was established in 2016, with an objective to invest in strategies that provide further diversification of CalSTRS overall investment portfolio, especially during equity market downturns. RMS includes long duration U.S. Treasuries, Trend Following, Global Macro, Systematic Risk Premia, and other strategies to be identified in the future.
The Investment Officer II is responsible for assisting with the oversight of the RMS Portfolio, evaluating new strategies, monitoring the portfolio, and performance attribution.
