Overview of Division/Department

Based out of Singapore, Mizuho Bank's Asia & Oceania Treasury Department (AOTD) oversees FX & Derivatives Sales, Trading, ALM and Macroeconomic/Market Research for Asia (outside of Japan and Greater China). The sales function is responsible for the marketing of Treasury products and Commodities Derivatives to corporate clients.

Job Responsibilities
Your key roles & responsibilities include:
  • Providing hedging solution to corporate clients (Local, Japanese and MNCs) based in the region and in the Singapore to manage risk (FX risk, Interest risk, Commodity price risk etc.)
  • Expanding derivatives business with clients in Southeast Asia / Ocean region, collaborating with Treasury colleagues in each country
  • Expanding derivatives business across Local Corporates and MNCs based in Singapore
  • Contributing ideas and strategies to improve derivatives business and collaborate with related departments
  • Responding to ad hoc requirements on the business as required


Job Requirements
What you should have:
  • A Bachelor Degree, preferably with MBA / CFA
  • At least nine years' relevant experience working in a regional treasury banking environment
  • Preferably with experience working with clients within Southeast Asia / Oceania region
  • Possess strong leadership qualities; able to guide and share knowledge to enhance the team
