The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact between the fixed income group and consultant, client and prospective relationships, assists Portfolio Managers/Traders as needed, and works with the account teams and sales force in relationship development. The incumbent oversees the creation and maintenance of material that communicates new and current investment strategies, specific client investment and portfolio strategies, and works with sales and portfolio management staff to analyze portfolios and create presentations. In addition, the Sales Analyst acts as the primary point of contact between the Portfolio Management Staff and External Consultants and develops material used in client reporting and new account opportunities. The incumbent works with Portfolio Managers to support the identification and cultivation of expanded business potential with existing clients. The incumbent will work on accounts that may include individual, consultant, family office, and institutional investors. S/He directs and coordinates the client support group to formulate, report, and verify account objectives including standard and ad hoc client reporting events. The incumbent will work with sales force and portfolio staff to optimize PWM recommendations and strategies and will encourage the use of appropriate PWM products to gain new accounts and enrichments and partner with Portfolio Managers in the establishment and execution of consultant relationships and participate in consultant meetings where appropriate.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5-8 years of experience in the investment/fiduciary management industry preferably in a role requiring regular client interaction. S/He will have knowledge of the investment management process and related products. CFA or MBA or progress towards a CFA of MBA is desirable. S/He will have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, at a level consistent with delivering client presentations, engaging in negotiations, and problem-solving, both internal and external.
