Investment Writing role suitable for financial journalists, editors or in house investment writers

My client, a leading European Investment Manager, is actively looking to speak to Financial Journalists, Editors or Investment Writers with asset management exposure, regarding and broad and varied investment communications role. Based in lovely offices in the heart of the City, the role offers great opportunities for progression and development, as well as sponsorship for further studies including the IMC or CFA.

***Please note - this client is willing to consider part-time employees or individuals who need flexibility to work from home on occasion***

Investment Communications Executive's accountabilities & responsibilities:
  • Investment Commentaries and Client communications - 50% of this role will entail writing monthly, quarterly and annual fund commentaries and market newsletters, across traditional and alternatives assets, targeting institutional and wholesale investors
  • Thought-Leadership White Papers - working closely with investment and product teams to generate research pieces based on market intel and industry trends
  • Marketing Content - including content for brochures, social media posts, blogs and press releases.
  • Ad hoc content projects as part of a small, dynamic team

Investment Communications Executive's accountabilities & responsibilities:
  • Previous exposure to investment management, either in-house or in a financial journalism or editing role
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and the compliance framework impacting content and communications
  • Proven track record in writing and strong communications skills
  • A self-starter who is organised, proactive and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Numerate, confident working with large data sets and able to draw conclusions and stories from high volumes of data.

Associated Salary & Benefits:
£40,000 - £50,000 PA (dependent on experience) + benefits + discretionary bonus
