The Role Responsibilities
The Credit Risk Monitoring Team is responsible for the monitoring and control of credit risk on the Financial Market (FM) trading books, across multiple asset classes including FX, fixed income, interest rates, money market, equities, credit and related derivatives. The team supports traded credit risk managers globally and is based in Singapore.
Due to internal mobility, an opportunity has arisen for a full-time role in the team to carry out monitoring and investigation of breaches of PFE limits as well as address exposure-related issues. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of FM products (FX, fixed income, derivatives, commodities), gained in a credit risk management environment (Counterparty Credit Risk).
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Support credit limit monitoring processes and excess investigation for the FM business and credit approval process through advising on exposures and limit utilisations from risk systems
• Design, implementation and review of credit risk monitoring and control processes
• Support and respond to ad hoc exposure queries
• Support the delivery of system enhancements leading to reduced excesses or better risk measurement
• Issues tracking on credit risk systems and escalation of process deficiencies
• User testing for project releases / migration projects / BAU enhancements
• Maintenance of full documentation on team Desk Operating Instructions
• Stakeholder management

Mandatory
• Strong product knowledge in FI / FX / Credit Derivatives / IR Derivatives / Equity Derivatives
• Works well individually as well as part of a team
• Able to meet tight deadlines
• Inquisitive, with attention to detail
• Proactive attitude towards work
• Problem solving ability
Preferred
• Counterparty credit risk knowlege
• Good banking experience (2 - 5 years)
• Related experience in Middle office, risk control and reporting
• Degree/masters holder in Finance / MFE. CFA / FRM qualified
• Strong product knowledge in FI / FX / Credit Derivatives / IR Derivatives / Equity Derivatives
• Proficient in MS Excel / Access (VBA / SQL)
