The Private Bank is experiencing substantial growth and the Product and Client Experience Team is seeking a talented Product Manager to execute on a multi-year growth strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Strategy and Client Experience, this role will drive critical strategic results in Wealth Management and be a key driver in our mission for optimal performance and accelerated growth of SVB's Private Bank.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for KPIs in P&L, service, business growth measurements, and employee satisfaction and engagement. Must affiliate with fintech and competitive environment to deliver a client experience and bank office tools which are best in class.

Lead strategically focused team aligned on goal setting and planning processes. Create strategic and executive communications and presentations for a number of internal and external forums related to Investment products and services, financial planning, operations-risk-regulatory process in wealth management for the innovation economy. Collaborate heavily on online banking, money movement, functional banking tools and related data transfers in banking which are important to strategic initiative execution. Facilitate project management, marketing and sales management, development and ongoing management of programs.

Evaluate our competitive position in the market, and partner with Product and Sales to develop a strategy to address our risks and opportunities. Maintain product level financial models in close coordination with Treasury and Finance partners in order to provide transparency into product profitability, impact of product and pricing changes, etc. Monitor the marketplace to assess relative pricing, product offering, or experience trends in order to recommend pricing adjustments, new products, new experiences or enhancements to existing products Partner with Leadership, Project Management, Sales, Operations, Compliance and other organizations on product strategy and roadmaps, and in evaluating and influencing growth opportunities.

Enable growth through deep analytical evaluation of strategic priorities and assessment of the strategic landscape and the potential for value creation. Focus on new and existing product management in the areas of financial planning, investment management, portfolio construction, investment products, client onboarding and servicing, liquidity and banking, and technology delivery. Develop, implement and coordinates sales and marketing strategies, objectives and programs

Knowledge of key regulatory, risk management, custodial and execution, pricing/costing, vendor management, and data delivery tools as key needs.

Strategic view of SVB's position in the market. Compile management level presentations and analysis, and reports to aid decisions and long-range planning for the business.

Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree, and at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Direct knowledge of Broker Dealer and Managed Money for taxable investors required
  • Experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or product management
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Experience with Agile development preferred.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, financial forecasting, opportunity analysis, and business analytics
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent relationship building, communication skills and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter attitude and track record with seamlessly executing quickly on complex projects with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills be able to see patterns, be a fast thinker and a good decision maker
  • Detail oriented with an ability to think strategically and make recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proven and progressive leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style

  • Project Management experience a plus
