German Speaking Associate, Fund of Hedge Funds, Prestigious Family Office, Frankfurt, Germany

Our client is a prestigious firm backed by a highly successful family with substantial financial resources and a mandate to invest across asset classes. The firm is now planning to expand their fund of hedge fund practice at the junior level. The position will be based in Frankfurt, but with coverage across the global market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source, screen and execute new investments across all of the strategies employed by the firm
• Meet the management teams of potential funds
• Be responsible for fundamental screening, researching, analysing and monitoring external investment managers

YOUR PROFILE:

• A minimum of one year's experience in either equity research, capital markets teams or multi stratgey asset management
• Demonstrate strong aptitude for research, analysis and commercial judgment
• You are an entrepreneurial team player with a dynamic, hands-on work attitude and excellent communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken German and English are required; fluency in at least one further European language is highly welcome
• Strong academic track record, CFA or CAIA are also seen a plus
