The California State Teachers' Retirement System Investments Branch is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Investment Officer III in the Operations Unit. 

The Investments Branch manages the investment portfolio for the nation’s second largest public pension fund,.

Investment Operations’ primary function is to provide middle-office support for internal and external portfolio activities by performing pre-settlement portfolio controls, cash and trade management, cash flow analysis, portfolio and total fund reporting, and by partnering with the asset classes to align operational services for the successful implementation of the Investment Policy and Management Plan.

Under the general direction of the Associate Portfolio Manager, the Investment Officer III provides investment technology (IT) expertise for the Investments Branch. The incumbent will provide IT project management support throughout the life cycle such as but not limited to software application sourcing, business analysis and mapping, end user support, testing and development.

This position is eligible for incentive compensation and has a maximum incentive opportunity of 15% of base salary.

An Investment Officer III who possesses a professional certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) may receive a 5% monthly base pay differential.
