Fixed Income Performance Attribution Analyst

A rarely available Fixed Income Performance Attribution Analyst has become available at a leading Hedge Fund in London. My client is looking to hire a Fixed Income Performance Attribution Analyst to work within the Investment Reporting & Performance Fixed Income business team.

Fixed Income Performance Attribution Analyst will be working on key Fixed Income and Alternatives reporting and performance Investment initiatives ensuring the business is at the forefront in its client offering to the market.

Key deliverables for the Fixed Income Performance Attribution Analyst:
  • Support the analyse of current Fixed income Investment Reporting and Performance process and deliver improvements;
  • Partner with Front Office Portfolio Managers and Risk Managers to translate business specifications and data analysis across the hedge fund's OMS/PMS applications.
  • Undertake data validation and analysis, managing the whole data review process and deliver new data enhancements.
  • Fixed Income and Alternatives attribution reporting across all core investment portfolios.
  • Supporting Middle Office Operations and interacting with Front Office, Risk Management, IT, and Business Change Management teams.

Prerequisite Requirements-

  • Fixed Income and Credit Derivatives expertise across Investment Performance Attribution Reporting.
  • Expertise across Investment Reporting and Performance Attribution Systems within Investment and Custody Operations.
  • Prior expertise in Excel VBA (Coding / Macro Creation) and SQL Scripting.
  • Proven track record of delivering performance analysis improvements, client reporting enhancements and risk calculations.
  • Excellent multi-asset portfolio coverage including Fixed Income, Credit Derivatives and Alternatives.
  • Advanced IT skills in MS Excel (VBA Coding / Macros), SQL Coding and prior knowledge of OMS/PMS and Charles River.
  • Industry Qualifications - IMC /CFA would be highly advantageous
