Index Analyst

The Firms Index team manages over $250bil in global equity assets including US, developed, international, emerging markets and thematic indices. The vehicles managed include ETF's, separately managed accounts, and sub-advised mutual funds for both domestic and international investors.

Responsibilities:

Conduct day to day analysis of index change events that impact the performance of all index funds
Continually communicate with outside constituents to gather information to assist in the decision process including vendors and brokers
Produce recommendations to the Portfolio Managers for implementation
Conduct performance attribution analysis

Qualifications:

Must possess 3+ years of experience in a similar position and an in-depth knowledge of index portfolio management
Sell side experience is a plus
High level of understanding of economic impact of corporate actions and index change events as well as trading strategies
Experience using SQL, Bloomberg and benchmark databases
Solid working knowledge of Excel, macros, database queries/reports
Comprehensive analytical and organizational skills are essential

BA Degree in Finance or Business or Related Field.
Master's degree, CFA or progress towards completion of CFA preferred
