 About the Job:

We are seeking an analyst to support the firm’s investment, marketing, and sales efforts.  We are looking for candidates with a passion for markets and a curiosity to learn.  The analyst will have a dynamic role working closely with the firm’s investment team, investment advisors and compliance.  This position will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in portfolio performance reporting, updating databases and marketing materials, and filling out requests for proposals
  • Helping find and analyze new convertible bonds and alternative products
  • Writing market commentary and fund newsletters
  • Providing analysis of portfolio risk and statistics
  • Providing ad-hoc comparison analyses to various benchmarks and competitors

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Must have the CFA designation
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with convertibles a plus
  • Previous knowledge of Morningstar Direct is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work with shifting priorities and deadlines
