Your prime focus will be to identify, and onboard Malaysian based SMEs onto the platform. You will have specific targets/KPIs built into the role related to SME onboarding and funding. Your role is to act as a sales function to increase the amount of SMEs looking to raise funds via our platform. Once you have picked SMEs that are suitable for our platform, then (working with other members of the team at Group level), you will also support that SME through the process and get them on our website, assisting them through the transition. You need to be passionate about entrepreneurialism, business development and sales. You will need to be a good all round salesperson and be willing to work in an entrepreneurial environment where you manage your own structure. You need to be disciplined and be able to create sales strategies. You need to be able to think on your feet, be the eyes, ears, and custodian of our brand and industry.


• Proactively researching the most suitable prospects through different means

• Filtering and shortlisting leads according to their suitability to list on Eureeca

• Optimizing the flow of deals through the business development department towards on boarding

• Lead engagement management including cold calling prospects

• Attending relevant events on the ground to raise awareness and exposure to the Eureeca brand

• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with entrepreneurs and the Eureeca network of partners

• Negotiating terms and closing leads in order for them to be ready to on board on Eureeca

Experience and Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or higher

• Any commercial experience and/or prior experience in a role within equity investment or where negotiation, persuasion, sales or business/financial analysis was required


• Strong English language verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Confident on the phone and face to face

• An efficient worker with strong process skills and the ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure

• Comfortable chasing both entrepreneurs and partners in order to ensure targets are being met

• Passionate about entrepreneurship

• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment

• Able to be the eyes and ears and custodian of our brand and industry

• Computer literate (MS Office, Google Apps, Salesforce)

• Social media literate
