Our Team
The Client Account Manager ("CAM") is responsible for delivering exceptional client service to strategically important Institutional clients of J.P. Morgan Asset Management. The CAM acts as the senior voice of the client by navigating the firm on their behalf. They develop a deep understanding of the unique requirements of clients across all asset classes and champion those requirements within the context of the larger firm. They partner with colleagues in Sales and Client Portfolio Management to form an integrated client service team.

Responsibilities:
Client Relationships and Communication
  • Core member of Integrated Team Model (ITM) - Client Advisor (CA) /Relationship Manager (RM), Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) and Client Account Manager (CAM)
  • Fully understand client relationship with JPM including global relationships, the client's investment with JPM and client's relationships with other asset managers and consultants
  • Anticipate client needs - create proactive plans to meet those needs
  • Participate and attend client meetings
  • Internal Stakeholder throughout the client prospecting process including review of RFP/RFIs and participation in pitches
  • Coordination and project management of all client life-cycle events including onboarding, fees, guidelines, benchmarks, reporting and any other client requests
  • Coordination of the Investment Management Agreement Negotiation process (working with an alternate Client Account Manager) and finalization of the agreement with the client
  • Conduct Service and Onboarding Reviews with clients
  • Proactive tailored client communication to client including regulatory, business and industry change
Leadership
  • Ability to think outside of job description in order to accomplish the goals of the client and the firm
  • Be fully accountable for internal client experience by managing and influencing internal stakeholders
  • Work with business stakeholders to define and drive client strategy and execution
  • Escalate and own critical issues (issues, errors and complaints) with a focus on resolution for all clients
  • Senior lead for designated distribution channel - leading a virtual team for the channel and controlling all communication, MI and issue management for all clients within that channel
  • Previous experience at an asset management firm; background inclient service and/or institutional client base preferred
  • Ability to develop strong client and internal relationships and anin-depth understanding of client servicing needs
  • Knowledge of investments including multi asset solutions,alternatives, fixed income, equity, real estate and private equity productofferings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong risk and control mindset; detail oriented
  • Solution driven
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multi-task and tomanage complex assignments
  • Ability to understand business drivers in order to influencemultiple stakeholders to deliver client solutions

  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degrees, other financialqualifications and licenses a plus (e.g. CFA, Series 7)
