The Risk Analysis and Reporting Consultant will be a key role within the Corporate Risk Management (CRM) organization, working with CRM Leadership to establish and execute the organization's analytical monitoring and reporting capabilities. This position will require strong organizational and project management skills and will play a key role in the development and implementation of the Brighthouse risk reporting framework.

How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:
The Risk Analysis and Reporting Consultant will be a key role within the Corporate Risk Management (CRM) organization, working with CRM Leadership to establish and execute the organization's analytical monitoring and reporting capabilities. This position will require strong organizational and project management skills and will play a key role in the development and implementation of the Brighthouse risk reporting framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works independently and supports senior management in the development, implementation, and communication of risk related analysis and reporting
- Analyzes information, makes recommendations, and presents results to management or senior leadership
- Prepares and delivers periodic risk reports to CRM Leadership and Brighthouse's senior management risk committees
- Actively participates in corporate GRC (governance, risk and compliance) initiatives, and working with key internal and external stakeholders in finance, investments, and product functions to design and implement CRM's monitoring activities
- May act as a project lead
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- Excellent project management, oral, and written communication skills, and ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
- Attention to detail - achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks, through concern for all areas involved
- Exhibits ability to prioritize effectively by demonstrating well-organized project management techniques
- 5+ years of related work experience with a minimum of 3 years financial service experience
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills; strong computer skills with experience in preparing presentations, dashboards, and other senior management reports
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in fields such as finance or risk management
- CFA (or working toward) preferred
