Our client, a global banking group with strong presence in Asia, is seeking a Director, Fixed Income Advisor for their private client business.
Responsibilities
- Provide investment advice / recommendations to relationship managers and HNW clients based on the approved recommended list of fixed income
- Encourage the adoption of portfolio approach to investment holistically across different asset classes
- Work closely with relationship managers and perform portfolio review for assigned clients / accounts
- Participate in new product development initiatives and provide feedback to investment committee
- Analyze economic and technical trends and provide investment recommendations / written commentaries
Requirements
- University degree holder with major in Finance or related disciplines. MBA / CFA holder is well-regarded
- At least 8 years of experience in investment advisory function in private banking sector
- Solid knowledge in fixed income is required, and well-versed in other asset classes, including equities, FX, mutual funds, structured products, etc
- Strong mindset in compliance and risk management
- Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin is required)
