Intermediary Distribution Sales Manager, Hong Kong

Bank of New York Mellon Investment Management, which is theumbrella name for all the investment management subsidiaries and affiliateswithin Bank of New York Mellon, currently has a presence in 5 countries in AsiaPacific, namely Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Australia. The company also targets and services clientsand distribution channels in other Asia Pacific countries (e.g. China, Taiwan).

This position, the Intermediary DistributionSales, is to manage the intermediary activities for BNY Mellon Investment Managementofferings in HK and with Strategic distribution partners:

•Develop and implement a sales strategy for HK with Head ofIntermediary Asia ex Japan that is consistent with the overall BNY MellonInvestment Management sales strategy;

•Grow and maintaining assets;

•Maintain an understanding of the full range of BNY MellonInvestment Management products for client presentations purposes;

•Coordinate and ensure delivery of after sales service toclients;

•Keep appropriate records of sales activities including callmeeting notes, prospective client contacts, activity against targets etc.;

•Produce business plans and maintaining robust pipeline ofbusiness opportunities;

•Liaise with Marketing to ensure the appropriate activitiesare undertaken to support the product range;

•Working hand in hand with other BNY Mellonteams (e.g. Product, Client Services, Marketing, Operations, Legal andCompliance) on planning, resources allocation and coordinating with IM EMEAsales team and our Boutiques in order to enhance sales effectiveness andefficiency.

Qualifications

•Minimum 7 years of work experience

•4+ years of related business experience preferred

•Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

•Professional designations such as CFA, CFP, CIMA, MBA are a plus

•Excellent presentation skills, strong closing skills, knowledgeable in business development and practice management, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
