Portfolio Analyst - Fixed Income

Firm has Portfolio Analyst for Fixed Income team in LA headquarters.  The Portfolio Analyst will support the portfolio management team in all investment related activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review security and portfolio level fixed income data as part of the investment management process; assemble and analyze security, statistical and trade data
• Create portfolio and market analytics to support portfolio management actions and overall investment activities
• Gather and synthesize various data sets to produce analysis that can help inform portfolio management activity
• Ad hoc and recurring projects as directed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Quantitative Analysis or related field
• Experience as a portfolio analyst at investment management firm, investment banking/sales trading associate or investment consulting analyst
• Strong understanding of fixed income securities and portfolio analytics
• Deep understanding of data analysis, data management and ability to present findings
• Proficient in Excel (macros, pivot tables, charting/graphing, etc.).
• Strong work ethic
• Problem solver and results driven
• Ability to understand or perform software coding is a plus
• CFA is a plus
