We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic part- or newly-qualified investment professional with relevant experience) to join the Client Relationship team. The team supports the investment services, including investment management, provided to Border to Coast's Partner Funds, who are both our shareholders and our clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation which will be one of the largest asset owner pools in the UK over the coming years, looking to make a difference to investment outcomes for its Partner Funds. The Partner Funds range in size between £1.5bn and £10bn of AUM. This provides a great opportunity for you to be closely involved with the development of a wide range of asset classes and strategies, plus the ongoing support of an involving and interesting client base.

In this role you will:
  • Directly support the Head of Client Relationships in developing long-term trusted relationships and ensuring that the service provided to Partner Funds is in line with agreed standards.
  • Help to analyse Partner Fund requirements and ensure that their requests are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with the Border to Coast Investment Team to prepare reports and presentations for Partner Funds.
  • Represent customers' needs within Border to Coast to enable us to continue to build an organisation with clients at its heart.

Over time we will support your development and encourage you to take an increasingly prominent role with the Partner Funds.

Qualified to Degree level and, ideally, part-qualified or newly qualified in FIA, CFA or IMC (or equivalent), you will have proven experience in either investment consultancy or a relationship role in investment management or associated financial services. We also require working knowledge of the UK institutional investment market including pensions, multi managers and asset management. You will also have good investment management and product knowledge, analytical skills and technical competence.

Border to Coast Pensions Partnership is a collaboration of 12 Local Government Pension Funds with a total asset value of £46 billion. Border to Coast is an FCA regulated investment company managing assets through both internal and external management with a number of investment vehicles, including an Authorised Contractual Scheme. Border to Coast started managing investment assets on behalf of its Partner Funds from mid-2018.
