Job Description
This position will inherit a high level of decision input regarding trades placed and the successful candidate will need to effectively evaluate and manage all risks incurred from the daily activity of the front office function, with coverage spanning all asset classes.
To add, the Head of Front Office Risk will drive active risk management, liaise with global heads, desk heads, product and operation teams, with the objective being to maintain and develop robust controls and analytics, as a means of identifying, assessing and mitigating risk in an forward thing manner that strategically partners with and enables the business.

Responsibilities
- Driving strategic projects both locally and globally
- Ensuring incident analysis
- Retrospective analysis and horizon scanning for emerging risks
- Acting as a key representative and contributor at relevant committees e.g. Risk Committee
- Leading, implementing and improving key front office controls
- Trade forensics
- Best execution tests
- Liaising with key stakeholders throughout the business
- Overseeing the management of pre-trade portfolio compliance efforts
Required Skills
- Demonstrable senior risk management experience gained within an Investment Manager
- In-depth knowledge of the trade lifecycle within Investment Management
- Detailed knowledge of Investment Products e.g. Fixed Income, Equities.
- Outstanding academic credentials - minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree
- Full CFA charter-holder or working towards preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Entrepreneurial nature, ability to work independently
